As with most banking apps, Access allows users to transfer funds directly to other accounts. The Pay & Transfer screen of the Access mobile app provides guidance on each step of the process. Whether settling bills, sharing expenses, or managing various accounts, the fund transfer feature within the app streamlines financial transactions, emphasizing simplicity and ease of use.


  1. Access the Transfer screen.
  2. If the account does not yet exist in the Select destination recipient list, select + New Recipient.
    The New Recipient screen appears.
    Otherwise, continue to Step 4.
  3. On the New Recipient screen, add the new contact by doing the following: 
    1. In the Full Name field, enter the first and last name of the recipient or the full name of the business.
    2. In the Routing No. field, enter the routing number for the recipient's bank account.
    3. In the Account No. field, enter the account number for the recipient's bank account.
    4. Select whether the recipient is a person, a business, or unknown.
    5. If the contact might be used again in the future, select Save contact for future transactions.
    6. Select Continue.
      The new recipient is saved to the Select destination recipient list.
  4. From the Select destination recipient list, choose the contact to whom money will be transferred and then select Continue.
    The New Payment screen appears.
  5. On the New Payment screen, enter the Amount to be transferred and select Continue.
    The Review Payment screen appears.
  6. On the Review Payment screen, review the payment details.
    Note: There is a small fee for processing a transfer.
  7. If desired, enter a comment for the recipient in the Description field.
  8. Select Complete Payment.
    The transfer is submitted for processing.
